The Heavy Measures were born out of a West London jam session that hosted a bunch of experienced musicians playing blues - for the love. At this weekly rumpus, drummer Chris, guitarists Trevor and Dave and bassist Steve found a musical affinity and decided to take material from the jam into the studio.  The final piece in the jigsaw arrived in the form of Miss Elly - with whom The Measures found their sound.
